Arca was recognized for promoting the personal, family and job development of its collaborators through the Deepening Human Values program.
For the second year in a row, CEMEFI (Mexican Philanthropy Center) recognized Embotelladoras Arca for Best Socially-Responsible Practices in the category of Quality of Life within the company, in this case because of the Deepening Human Values program, which is part of the efforts of our organization in its social commitment to promote actions which directly benefit our personnel, their families, and the community.
The Deepening Human Values program was first implemented in our organization 21 years ago, on the initiative of company shareholders Mrs. María Guadalupe Barragán Villarreal and her brother Dr. Javier L. Barragán Villarreal; the program promotes comprehensive education of the members of the company, in addition to providing them with the tools that allow them to apply these to their daily lives through a methodology based on imparting values such as honesty, loyalty, responsibility and respect, among others.
In 2008, the Deepening Human Values program—with the support of an internal training team and the enthusiastic collaboration of aides specializing in medical subjects, human relationships and addictions—had an impact on 2,646 collaborators in Arca territory.
This public recognition of our organization motivates us to continue working with more enthusiasm and to focus our efforts even more, by proposing initiatives which allow us to improve the quality of life of our personnel and in the communities we serve, as well as to satisfy the common goal of promoting sustainable actions, as defined in our Social Responsibility Model, which is part of the Arca System of Quality and Improvement.
